China Reinsurance's (HKG:1508) chairman, He Chunlei, resigned effective Thursday after attaining the statutory retirement age, a same-day Hong Kong bourse filing said.

The reinsurer named Zhuang Qianzhi as its new chairman. He will assume office following the relevant regulatory approvals.

Zhuang has been the vice chair of the company since December 2022. Following the work rearrangement, Zhuang resigned as president of the firm.
