Metal Hawk (ASX:MHK) said an initial reverse circulation drilling program at its Leinster South project in Western Australia returned high-grade gold mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The first stage of drilling was completed with 55 holes drilled for a total of 5,528 meters.
It encountered an intercept of one meter at 13.87 grams per tonne grade of gold from 47 meters from the Thylacine prospect, as well as one meter at 12.62 g/t grade of gold from seven meters from the Siberian Tiger prospect.
Its shares climbed over 3% in recent trading on Thursday.
