Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX:KAL) is set to begin a reverse circulation drill program at the Pinjin project in Western Australia by Sept. 25, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The program will test below shallow gold mineralization and anomalism identified in recent air-core drilling at the Wessex, Lighthorse, and Providence South prospects, the filing said.
The rig is expected to be on site for around six weeks.
Government co-funded diamond drilling at Kirgella Gift and Providence is expected to run concurrently with the drill program, per the filing.
