PhosCo (ASX:PHO) found thick, shallow phosphorus pentoxide mineralization during a recent drilling at its Gasaat phosphate project in Tunisia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
The results include 53 meters at 22.3% phosphorus pentoxide from 53.2 meters, including nine meters at 26.1% phosphorus pentoxide from 55.5 meters.
The company will undertake preliminary metallurgical testing of the Kef El Mloula prospect mineralisation to identify the optimal processing route, the filing added.
The company said a resource update at the nearby SAB prospect is on track for completion shortly.
The company's shares rose nearly 6% in recent Wednesday trade.
