To advance clinical education for dentists, Osstem established the Osstem Implant Training Center (OIC) and built a standardized, practice-focused curriculum. Globally, more than 120,000 dentists have completed Osstem's clinical training programs. In India, a cumulative 10,466 dentists have graduated through OIC India as of August 2025, positioning the program as the second largest worldwide by scale after China. In 2024 alone, 1,249 dentists completed the courses, with an additional 856 graduates by August 2025, reflecting strong engagement among Indian practitioners. Through this structured training, the clinical capabilities of Indian dentists have advanced significantly.

Osstem is also leading education in digital dentistry. In August, Dr. YinShik Hur, author of Atlas of Digital Dentistry and Director of Digital Dentistry, conducted an intensive digital workflow course. In September, Prof. Marco Tallarico, a globally recognized expert in implantology, led a two-day advanced program in Mumbai titled "Full Arch Rehabilitation from Planning to Restorations." The curriculum focused on strengthening capabilities for treating edentulous patients and covered CBCT interpretation, intraoral scanning, surgical guide design, and hands-on immediate implant placement.

These education initiatives create social value beyond knowledge transfer. By serving dentists across both urban and rural areas, OIC India helps improve access to high-quality implant treatments in regions with historically limited dental care. Clinics led by OIC India graduates report strong clinical outcomes, contributing to improved patient quality of life and the broader advancement of India's dental healthcare ecosystem.

In addition, Osstem hosts the annual "Osstem Meeting" in India, where clinical experts and dentists share the latest trends and advanced clinical insights. Approximately 400 dentists attended the Bengaluru event in July, and approximately 1,300 participated in September. The Osstem Meeting is slated to take place next year in major cities across India, including Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Ahmedabad.

"Education is the foundation of better dental care," said Heewon Park, Managing Director of Osstem Implant India. "By providing world-class training to Indian dentists, we are strengthening clinical competencies while fulfilling our social responsibilities. We will continue to do our utmost so that more patients in India can benefit from high-quality dental treatment."

Dentists interested in participating in OIC India programs can apply via Osstem Implant India's official social media channels or through their local sales representative.
