EPI (Holdings) (HKG:0689) said substantial shareholder Billion Expo International has sold its entire 13.92% stake, or 86.2 million shares, in the company to VCYBER Holdings, according to a Sept. 19 Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the oil explorer were up over 10% in Monday morning trade.
Following the disposal, Billion Expo has ceased to hold any shares in the company, while VCYBER has become a substantial shareholder.
VCYBER is controlled by Shum Ka Kam, a director of EP AOTO Investment, an indirect subsidiary of EPI, according to the filing.
