Saunders International (ASX:SND) promoted Chief Operating Officer Angelo De Angelis to managing director and chief executive officer effective Oct. 1, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

De Angelis will succeed Mark Benson, who will step down as CEO at the end of the year, the filing said.

De Angelis begins today as executive director, with Benson staying on until Dec. 31 to ensure a smooth transition and then supporting him for a further 12 months as needed, the filing said.
