Consumer stocks were steady premarket Monday, with the Consumer Staples Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLP) inactive and the Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLY) marginally advancing.

ODP (ODP) shares were up more than 33% after the company said it agreed to be acquired by an affiliate of Atlas Holdings in an all-cash transaction for $28 a share, valuing ODP at about $1 billion.

Royal Caribbean Group (RCL) shares were down 0.5% after the company said Monday it has started a registered public offering of senior unsecured notes.

Steakholder Foods (STKH) shares were 0.4% lower after the company said it has signed an agreement to acquire Twine Solutions through an equity transaction.
