The methodology includes assessing compute time, server power, and grid emissions to understand AI's carbon footprint. This initiative is part of Grove's broader sustainability efforts and is intended to encourage mindful AI adoption across the industry. The company plans to share an open-source measurement approach to facilitate industry-wide environmental accountability in AI innovation.
