Powerhouse Ventures (ASX:PVL) made a AU$500,000 tranched investment in Veriquantix, a quantum-based cybersecurity company, alongside a venture capital firm and a superannuation fund, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The AU$500,000 investment represents over 10% of the company. Powerhouse Ventures Chairman, James Kruger, will be Veriquantix's first Chairman.
It also proposed a AU$250,000 investment in Sirius-beta Labs, for which a US-led Series A is planned for early 2026. James Kruger will also become the Chairman of Sirius-beta Lab's board.
Both investments will be transferred into the Critical Infrastructure Opportunities Fund under Powerhouse's Burleigh Ventures.
