X.J. Electrics (Hu Bei) Co. Ltd reported revenue of RMB542.8 million for the six months ended 30 June 2025, representing an 11.7% decrease compared to RMB614.4 million for the same period in 2024. The decline was primarily attributed to reduced sales resulting from uncertainties related to U.S. tariff policies. Net profit for the period was RMB25.3 million, down from RMB60.5 million a year earlier. Income tax expenses declined to RMB5.4 million from RMB10.4 million in the prior-year period, reflecting lower income before tax. The Group's effective tax rate increased from 14.6% to 17.7%. Sales expenses decreased by 17.1% to RMB12.4 million, mainly due to reduced sales staff costs following a decrease in sales volume. Administrative expenses increased by 20.9% to RMB55.4 million, primarily as a result of increased management staff at production facilities in China and Indonesia. Research and development expenses fell by 10.4% to RMB14.7 million, attributed to a lower number of R&D projects during the reporting period. Financial costs rose from RMB5.6 million to RMB8.1 million due to the cessation of interest capitalisation following the completion of the XJ Intelligence Factory. Shareholders' equity increased from RMB926.2 million as of 31 December 2024 to RMB1,097.1 million as of 30 June 2025, mainly due to an increase in issued capital. During the period, the company commenced operations at a new R&D Centre in Hubei Province, with a focus on the development and testing of new products. X.J. Electrics also expanded partnerships with universities and research institutions to advance technology research and explore new applications in household goods manufacturing.
