China Metal Resources Utilization Ltd. reported revenue of RMB341 million for the six months ended 30 June 2025, representing a 25% decrease from RMB454 million in the same period in 2024. Revenue from recycled copper products amounted to RMB339 million, down 24% from RMB446 million a year earlier, mainly due to a 30% decline in sales volume from 7,004 metric tons to 4,877 metric tons. The average selling price of copper products increased 9% year-on-year, from RMB63,658 per ton to RMB69,596 per ton. The company reported a net loss of RMB208 million for the period, compared to a net loss of RMB222 million in the same period of 2024. The reduction in loss was mainly attributed to a decrease in provision for doubtful debts. China Metal Resources Utilization Ltd. noted that it has applied for bankruptcy reorganization for some operating subsidiaries, with approval from relevant courts. The company stated that the effect of these bankruptcy reorganizations would be the restructuring of debts for the affected subsidiaries.
