The sector was one of the few bright spots during F1Q, as shipments increased 17% from the prior year. The auto market itself is improving and the company now expects to finish the year with a 15 million unit build rate, up from prior forecasts of 13.5 million. Worthington also anticipates tailwinds from potential interest rate cuts.
