European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Rising Friday

European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were rising late Friday morning, up 0.7% to 1,544.28 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index.

From continental Europe, the gainers were led by bank BBVA (BBVA) and clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company Cellectis (CLLS), which rose 2.4% and 1.8%, respectively.

They were followed by bank Santander (SAN), which added 1.5%.

The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech Evaxion (Evax) and biopharmaceutical company Pharming (PHAR), which fell nearly 9% and past 6%, respectively.

From the UK and Ireland, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Adaptimmune Therapeutics (ADAP) and cell therapy company Autolus Therapeutics (AUTL), which rose 22% and 3.7%, respectively.

The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by oncology biotech company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX) and clinical diagnostic company Trinity Biotech (TRIB), which lost 9% and 3.5%, respectively.
