High-Tech Metals (ASX:HTM) completed a combined aircore and reverse circulation drilling program at its Mt Fisher Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The program included 54 aircore holes on a nominal 270-meter section on the tailings dam and nine holes of reverse circulation drilling testing the stockpiles, the filing said.

Samples are now being transported to JTMet's laboratory in Perth for metallurgical testwork, the filing added.

The company said that the metallurgical program aims to confirm historical recovery and grade data, and to assess potential processing pathways, including the evaluation of potential toll treatment options at nearby facilities.

Sample splits have been collected for gold and multi-element analysis to support resource estimation work, and results are expected in the next quarter, the company added.
