Momentus Inc. has announced the signing of a contract to launch a demonstration mission for Pulsar Fusion's Hall Effect Thruster (HET) propulsion system. The mission will utilize Momentus' Vigoride orbital service vehicle, with the launch planned for late 2026. The demonstration will test Pulsar Fusion's HET technology in a space environment, assessing its thrust efficiency, thermal stability, and electromagnetic compatibility. This initiative is part of a strategic partnership between Momentus, a U.S.-based provider of satellite transportation and on-orbit services, and Pulsar Fusion, a UK-based propulsion company. The collaboration aims to advance the development and commercialization of next-generation electric propulsion systems for satellites and deep space missions.
