Stavely Minerals (ASX:SVY) said partial geochemistry results from a soil auger sampling program at the Fairview South gold prospect at its Stavely copper-gold project in Victoria confirmed that gold anomalism extended further south of a first phase reverse circulation drill hole, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The soil auger geochemistry results from the drill hole returned 40 meters at about 2 grams per tonne grade of gold from surface in the drill hole, per the filing.
The firm's shares jumped over 9% in recent trading on Tuesday.
