Black Rock Mining (ASX:BKT) will start a limited program of early works to support the ramp-up of construction activity at the Mahenge project in Tanzania, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The early works program will include activities to improve existing site access roads and plant site earthworks, and is expected to begin in November, the filing said.

Completion of the program is subject to the issue of shares under the second tranche of the company's AU$10 million placement, according to the filing.
