Beverly Wilshire (SGX:9QX) has entered into a subscription agreement with private investor Mageswari Rajoo for a capital injection totaling SG$100,000, according to a Tuesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Under the deal, the company will issue 8.5 million shares to Mageswari Rajoo at SG$0.0117 per share. The price represents a 9.3% discount to the company's volume-weighted average price on Tuesday.

Shares of the company were up over 8% in early Wednesday afternoon trading.

Proceeds raised from the deal will be used to strengthen the company's financial position and capital base, it said.
