Select Harvests (ASX:SHV) reported an estimated final almond crop size of 24,700 metric tonnes, with the year's crop now processed through its Carina West facility in Victoria, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The estimate is within the forecast range of 24,000 metric tonnes to 26,500 metric tonnes, but below the midpoint of 25,250 metric tonnes, the filing said.
The company also posted an average crop price of AU$10.14 to AU$10.20 per kilogram, down 1.5% from its mid-year forecast of AU$10.35 per kilogram.
The company lowered its net debt to $80 million and a gearing ratio of 15%, reflecting a 50% debt reduction compared with the previous year, per the filing.
