- The Trump administration is laying out a set of operating principles that it wants universities to agree to in exchange for preferential access to federal funds in a memo which puts forth a wide-ranging set of terms the administration says are intended to elevate university standards and performance.

- The Trump administration said it is withholding $18 billion in infrastructure funds for some major transportation projects in New York City, citing concerns about diversity, equity and inclusion.

- Excelerate Energy EE.N has received an award from Iraq to develop an integrated floating liquefied natural-gas import terminal.

- The U.S. will provide Ukraine with intelligence for long-range missile strikes on Russia's energy infrastructure, American officials said, as the Trump administration weighs sending Kyiv powerful weapons that could put in range more targets within Russia.

- Walmart WMT.N said on Wednesday it would remove synthetic dyes from its U.S. private-label foods, including the Great Value and bettergoods brands, by January 2027, joining several other companies amid pressure from the Trump administration.
