Iltani Resources (ASX:ILT) said assays from reverse circulation drilling at the Orient East prospect, part of the Orient silver-indium project in Queensland, returned multiple wide intersections of high-grade mineralization, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.

It encountered intercepts of seven meters at 113.7 grams per tonne grade of silver-equivalent from 127 meters, as well as 20 meters at 104.3 g/t grade of silver-equivalent from 140 meters. It passed the data to independent mining consultant Mining One, and a maiden Orient East mineral resource estimate is expected by mid-October.

It also began a 10-hole reverse circulation drilling program to test shallow versatile time-domain electromagnetic survey targets at the project. The drilling is expected to take two to three weeks to complete.
