Perpetual Resources (ASX:PEC) said assays from a maiden drilling program at the Igrejinha project in Brazil confirmed the presence of a lithium-cesium-tantalum pegmatite system, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
Follow-up campaigns at the Morro Grande target will systematically test for polymetallic mineralization within the broader system.
Drilling at Morro Grande returned up to 1.83% grade of cesium oxide, up to 2.5% grade of tin, up to 1,570 parts-per-million grade of tantalum pentoxide, and up to 1.56% grade of tungsten trioxide.
