Ascent Bridge (SGX:AWG) said its joint chief executive officer and joint chairman, Sun Quan, has resigned from the roles, effective Oct.1, according to a Wednesday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were up over 1% in Thursday trading.

Sun has resigned to focus on the proposed voluntary conditional general offer to acquire the company by MTBL Global where he is the sole shareholder.
