Convenience Retail Asia (HKG:0831) said an independent investigation found no evidence of data exfiltration, including personal information, following a recent information security incident, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The network disruption, reported in late September, temporarily affected the company's internal systems and certain functions of its loyalty program.
The company said it has since strengthened its IT systems and network security with guidance from external experts and its internal team's risk assessment.
It also notified Hong Kong's Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data on Sept. 26 and said it will continue to monitor the situation and cooperate with authorities, according to the filing.
