Carnaby Resources (ASX:CNB) said drilling confirmed the continuity of the "very high grade" shoot mineralization at the Trek 1 prospect in the Greater Duchess copper-gold project in Queensland, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results also show the upside potential for the prospect to grow with additional drilling, the filing said.

Shares of the company rose 10% in Monday trade and earlier hit a 52-week high.
