Patronus Resources (ASX:PTN) said it identified several large-scale gold anomalies at the Pine Creek project in the Northern Territory via the results of a surface sampling program, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company's team is interpreting the surface data and ranking targets using the recently completed structural mapping and geophysical compilations, while infill sampling is underway over key target areas, the filing said.
Patronus Resources' shares jumped close to 6% in recent trading on Monday, reaching their highest point in over three years.
