Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) started exploration activities at the Omuronga project in Namibia, with a maiden drilling program set to start in the coming weeks, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company's forward program involves a ground magnetic survey to validate and improve existing data for better drill targeting, and then the first phase drilling to test identified magnetic and geochemical anomalies to confirm the geological source, the filing said.

Shares fell nearly 10% in afternoon trade Tuesday.
