Adelong Gold (ASX:ADG) said that diamond drilling at the Apollo project in Victoria confirmed broad mineralized zones and "high-grade" intercepts, supporting the concept of an epizonal gold-antimony system, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.
Results yielded 10.9 meters (m) at 3.3 grams per tonne gold (g/t Au) from 69.1 m, including 6 m at 5.36 g/t Au from 74 m, the filing said.
Shares of the company fell 10% in recent Monday trade and earlier hit a 52-week high.
