New World Development Co. Ltd. announced record-breaking results for its K11 MUSEA mall during this year's National Day Golden Week, which coincided with the Mid-Autumn Festival. Footfall increased by 12% year-on-year, reaching the highest level since the mall's opening for this festive period. Tourist spending rose nearly 20% compared to the previous year, with purchases concentrated on international luxury brands, watches, and jewellery. Notably, the highest single purchase by a Mainland Chinese tourist exceeded HK$1 million. Member sales at K11 MUSEA climbed over 20% year-on-year, with luxury brand and jewellery/watch sales surging 46% and 43% respectively. The mall has also doubled its retail space for luxury brands over the past year, welcoming more than 50 new premium fashion and lifestyle brands and expanding several existing luxury stores.
