Balu Forge Begins Operations at New Precision Machining Line in Belgaum, India

Precision engineering company Balu Forge Industries (NSE:BALUFORGE, BOM:531112) has begun operations of a precision machining line at its new manufacturing campus at Belgaum in Karnataka, India, according to a BSE filing on Tuesday.

The line has seven-axis and 11-axis computer numerical control (CNC) machines, that will help the company to increase its capability to deliver advanced machining solutions for critical applications in railways, defence, aerospace, and other precision industries.

These machines can process components up to 2.5 meters in length and across a broad range of materials including aluminium and titanium.

With this installation, the company's additional machining capacity is now at 12,000 tons per annum.
