China Financial Leasing Group (HKG:2312) said it agreed to sell shares representing one-fifth of the business to Innoval Capital, according to a Hong Kong bourse filing Sunday.
Shares of the financial leasing company gained over 5% in morning trade Monday.
The company is selling 69,379,496 shares priced at HK$1.25 each for proceeds of HK$86.7 million. Funds raised will primarily be used for investments in the web3 and artificial intelligence sectors.
The shares represent around 20% of the company's issued share capital, and 16.67% on an enlarged basis.
Innoval Capital is owned by Moore Xin Jin, the founder and chief executive of Nasdaq-listed Antalpha Platform.
