Hyterra (ASX:HYT) said elevated hydrogen and helium flowing gas shows were measured in real-time during swabbing operations McCoy 1 well in its Nemaha project in Kansas, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.
HyTerra had installed a real-time gas monitoring system while swabbing the McCoy 1 well.
The firm plans to design a production testing program to appraise and obtain representative flowing gas compositions from the basement formation.
It is expected to be ready to carry out a production test after the winter season in 2026.
