Verity Resources (ASX:VRL) started diamond drilling at the Monument Gold project in Western Australia, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

The phase 2 program will consist of 6,400-meter drilling focused on resource upgrade and expansion, the filing said. It follows the first phase, which returned gold intercepts averaging over 1 gram per tonne grade of gold across 38 drill holes.
