Asian Battery Metals (ASX:AZ9) said drilling at the Oval copper-nickel-platinum group elements discovery, within its Yambat project in Mongolia, expanded known mineralization and confirmed the presence of high-conductance electromagnetic plates for follow-up testing, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The drilling results support the presence of a vertically extensive copper-nickel-platinum group elements system within the Oval intrusion.
Downhole electromagnetic modelling at the MS1 area indicates the presence of off-hole conductors, allowing for follow-up drilling.
Its shares slumped 10% in recent trading on Tuesday.
