Shares of SES AI rose after the company said it would unveil its Molecular Universe 1.0 software to discover new battery materials on Oct. 20.
The stock rose 9% in premarket after surging 12% on Tuesday.
SES said its new AI software, which integrates the latest GPT-5 models and training data including publications, patents and human intuition, reduces battery material discovery from years to tens of minutes.
The company also said it has expanded its enterprise subscription services, now offering three-sub-tiers due to strong demand from industries including energy storage, drones and robotics, electric vehicles and consumer electronics.
