Vinyl Group Says Media Events Unit to Meet Fiscal 2025 Earn-Out Target; Shares Up 3%

Vinyl Group (ASX:VNL) said that its media events unit, Funkified Entertainment, is expected to meet its AU$500,000 earnings before interest and taxes earn-out target and record revenue of over AU$4.5 million in fiscal 2025, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The earn-out was established under the terms of Vinyl's acquisition of Funkified, which was completed on Dec. 9, 2024.

Funkified's performance is supported by the renewal of a sponsor partnership for the 2025 to 2026 Ashes test cricket series, valued at AU$743,000 in revenue, as well as an agreement with an international automotive client for their 2025 launch events, with a minimum committed amount of AU$1 million, the filing said.

Vinyl Group's shares climbed past 3% in recent Wednesday trade.
