Thakral's (SGX:AWI) investee company, The Beauty Tech Group, made its debut on the London Stock Exchange, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the company were up nearly 1% in Friday trading.

The provider of at-home beauty technology products share price was up about 4%, closing at 2.81 pounds sterling on its first day.

This brought the market value of Thakral's post-IPO remaining stake to about 18.8 million pounds. Thakral has a 6.04% stake in Beauty Tech.

The investee company raised around 29 million pounds from the 10.7 million placement shares on offer at 2.71 pounds per share.
