Evion Group (ASX:EVG) said it received its first advance of 5,000 euros to launch staff training on finance reporting requirements for its Maniry graphite project in Madagascar, with the grant and training provided and supported by the Agence Freancaise de Developpement, according to a Friday Australian bourse filing.
The firm will prepare formal applications for funding from the European Investment Bank and KfW Development Bank after meeting with European Union officials and banking representatives.
Evion Group's shares jumped past 8% in recent trading on Friday.
