LME unveils plans for options market, including automated expiry

LONDON, Oct 9 (Reuters) - The London Metal Exchange published its plans for the development of its options market on Thursday, including changing from American to European style options.

The exchange, the world's oldest and largest market for industrial metals, said it would publish a market consultation later this year on a planned move to automated option expiry, it added.
