Orient Overseas (International) (HKG:0316) said its liner revenue fell 25.9% year over year to $2.26 billion in the third quarter, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Shares of the firm were up over 1% in Friday morning trade.
Total liftings edged up 0.7% from a year earlier, while loadable capacity rose 4.2%. The overall load factor was 2.8% lower than the prior-year period.
Average revenue per TEU dropped 26.5% year over year, the container shipping and logistics company said.
For the first nine months of 2025, total liner revenue declined 8.3% to $6.70 billion, while liftings and loadable capacity grew 4.7% and 6.7%, respectively.
