OD6 Metals (ASX:OD6) said metallurgical core drilling was completed at Splinter Rock rare earth project in Western Australia, and 2 tonnes to 2.5 tonnes of rare earth-bearing core is being collected for testing, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The core samples will be analyzed via metallurgical testing as part of a planned optimization and scale-up program, designed to refine the heap leach and impurity removal flowsheet and provide final product samples for offtake discussions.
