Astral Resources (ASX:AAR) said assays for the final 51 holes of a 74-hole 11,740-meter reverse circulation drilling program at its Spargoville gold project in Western Australia identified extensions to mineralization, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
It encountered intercepts of three meters at 16.9 grams per tonne grade of gold from 71 meters, as well as nine meters at 5.16 g/t grade of gold from 105 meters.
The firm's shares jumped over 4% in recent trading on Thursday.
