West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) started the second phase of diamond drilling at the Elizabeth Hill project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The second phase of drilling is designed to confirm and define the shallow, high-grade silver near the historical workings, and test for a potential deeper continuation to the south, involving about 14 diamond drill holes covering 1,300 meters, the filing said.
Geophysical surveys were also completed to provide further data for refinement of the proposed air-core program set to begin next month, per the filing.
Shares fell nearly 3% in afternoon trade Wednesday.
