Americas Gold and Silver Corporation (USAS) said Tuesday that it has hired Lot Sixteen, a Washington, DC-based government relations firm, to engage with the US government about potential antimony production support and plans to build a processing plant in Idaho's Silver Valley.
The company said it operates the Galena mine complex, which is the only active antimony-producing mine in the US, which also yields silver, lead, and copper.
It said Lot Sixteen will help advance the project by advising on federal funding opportunities and policy engagement for domestic critical minerals.
