Dreadnought Resources (ASX:DRE) said it has completed 55 reverse circulation holes under its drilling program at the Mangaroon gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The company has so far completed drill holes at Steve's Reward, Cullen's Find, Midnight Star, and Midday Moon, with "promising" structures intersected at Cullen's Find and Midday Moon, where it found quartz-sulphide veining and alteration associated with gold-in-soil anomalism.

All samples from Cullen's Find, Midday Moon, and Midnight Star are in for rush assay with results expected in November, while results from Steve's Reward are expected in October, the filing added.

The company has completed a significant target generation and definition surface geochemical program at the High Range, Bordah, Minga Bar, and Alma camp scale prospects, with about 300 stream sediments and about 2,700 soil samples collected for assay. Results are expected later in the year.

The company added that drilling is now underway at Lesgo, Star of Mangaroon, and Pritchard's Well, the company added.
