Samsung Electronics Unveils Samsung Wallet Money & Points in Collaboration with Woori Bank

Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930), in collaboration with Woori Financial Group's (KRX:316140) Woori Bank, unveiled two new features, Samsung Wallet Money & Points, on its Samsung Wallet app on Galaxy smartphones, the electronics products maker said in a Thursday release.

The new Wallet Money service allows users to pay without a physical card by linking their bank accounts for easy top-ups, withdrawals, and transfers--free of charge up to ten times a month. Meanwhile, Wallet Points automatically rewards users with points for every payment, which can be used for transactions in the future.

Shares of Samsung Electronics rose more than 2% in recent trade.
