Route Mobile Ties Up with Kalaam Telecom to Offer WhatsApp Business Services in Middle East

Cloud communications company Route Mobile (NSE:ROUTE, BOM:543228) has partnered with Kalaam Telecom, a Bahrain-based digital transformation services provider, to offer WhatsApp Business services to enterprises across the Middle East region, according to a filing made on Thursday to the Indian bourses.

With this partnership, Kalaam Telecom will be able to support businesses in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region to integrate the WhatsApp Business service application programming interface (API) into their operations.

The partnership also eyes expanding into additional communication channels beyond WhatsApp, the filing said.
