0807 ET - BCE has big plans for its new U.S. fiber business. The Canadian telecom major wants to grow its fiber footprint in the U.S. to 3 million locations by the end of 2028 now that it has closed the acquisition of Ziply Fiber which serves the country's Pacific Northwest. BCE says that it has the potential to grow to up to 8 million fibre locations in the U.S. alone through Network FiberCo, its strategic partnership with PSP Investments. (adriano.marchese@wsj.com)
