Etherstack (ASX:ESK) said its UK unit, Etherstack Wireless, has won a five-year contract worth 14.2 million pounds sterling to supply mission-critical communications software for use in the UK's Emergency Services Network, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.

Shares of the company rose past 18% on market close and earlier hit a 52-week high.
